Freeland Lodge comprises of two contrasting
buildings:
* Old Cape Victorian charm is the
flavour of the front house featuring four large rooms
with high ceilings, Oregon pine floors and detailing.
One room has an original fireplace.

The old school hall/factory sports an industrial/alternative
high tech décor
in the connecting back building. Five large rooms
provide spacious accommodation off the common area.
The three rooms upstairs offer a sky light view of
mountains and rooftops
* Large common room
with double volume ceiling can be used as a conference
area for visiting academic groups as well as providing
a social area/meeting point for guests.
All
rooms are available for single or double
occupancy.
Each
room is equipped with desks, wardrobes and
comfortable beds.

self-catering kitchens
Communal bathrooms
(totalling 6 showers, 1 bath, 5 toilets,
1 urinal)
Large
dining room tables and lounge area with TV
and DVD.
Computers
for residents use
Wireless ADSL internet
access on a pay-as-you-go basis, so laptops
can be used in the privacy of your room.
Laundry
facilities include 2 washing machines, a
dryer and clothes lines.
Jacuzzi operational
on weekends. *Access is via a
disk-pad operated gate. A key deposit will be requested. |
